How do I ensure that ads do not appear on my ecomm store pages, just on my ecomm store’s blog? Do I have to exclude each and every page or can I exclude menu items – home, shop, about us and in footer – search, policies, contact us? In other words, if I exclude navigation items, can I assume that all included pages will be excluded?
There are two exclusion methods – exact match and prefix. So you do not need to exclude every page, just exclude every section you don’t want ads on.
Choose either:
This page only – to exclude ads on the exact URL match only.
or
All pages under this section – to exclude ads on whole sections of your site that share the same URL prefix. For example, let’s say you entered the URL example.com/sports. In this case, we would exclude Auto ads on example.com/sports, www.example.com/sports and example.com/sports/team but not on subdomain.example.com/sports.
