Hi,
Welcome to Google Drive Help Forum and thank you for posting.
It is recommended that you could try the following steps:
1. Also empty trash bin of Gmail / Google Photos to reduce storage space used by data within trash bin.
2. Check your Google Drive files by file size:Use a computer to see your files listed from largest to smallest.Put files you don’t want in your trash, then permanently delete them. Learn how to delete files.Within 24 hours, the items you deleted will show in the available space in your Google Drive account.
3. Remove hidden data from apps in Google DriveOn your computer, go to drive.google.com.Click Settings Settings. On the left, click Manage apps.If there’s hidden data, you can find the amount under the app’s description. To delete this data, click Options Delete hidden app data.
4. Check your Gmail / Google Photos usage because they share the same storage space with Google Drive.
