Bought a Pixel 4A 5G (long-time Fi user) and when prompted, downloaded an eSIM to activate service. Only later, after I’d been using it for a while, I removed the SIM card from my Pixel 3A as part of the exchange process so I could send the 3A back. Now the old SIM is sitting here on my desk. Is there any reason to keep it, or to use it in my 4A 5G (and presumably erase the eSIM)? Should I throw it away (presumably after destroying it somehow)?
Hello C.P. Frost,
Welcome to the Google Fi Community forum.
If needed, or if you want one as a back up, you can order a free SIM card from Google Fi. I wouldn’t use the old SIM in the 4a (5G) as it’s a pre-5G SIM. I would recommend disposing of the old SIM.
