I have a MCC account linked to several sub accounts with the same set of events. I am looking to measure the conversions using the MCC account but I do not know how to identify the campaign and keyword that triggered the event.Any suggestions?
Google Ads support often get this wrong – we have seen numerous suspensions reported here after receiving such advice. What you are doing is against Google Ads policy:
promoting the same or similar content from multiple accounts on the same or similar queries; trying to show more than one ad at a time for your business, app or sitehttps://support.google.com/adspolicy/answer/6020954
Two solutions – consolidated billing, if you qualify, using your existing structure:
Or simply use one account. Each client can have their own campaign and own daily budget (effectively a monthly budget). There will be no difference to how you currently operate, except you won’t get account invoices for each client.
If you do go with one account, my strong recommendation, make sure the other accounts get cancelled – don’t just pause campaigns.
