I am a victim of a scam, where I was asked to buy a google play gift card worth $200 and asked to give the code in-order to get my facebook account recovered. Is there a way I could get a refund or any sort of recovery? I would really appreciate any help here. the google team was not helpful at all.
I am very sorry. If you gave the codes to the scammers, those cards will already be drained and the proceeds laundered beyond recovery. Google cannot recover or refund those cards.

Never ever trust anyone that asks to be paid in any kind of gift card for anything. No matter how official they sound or what threats or promises they make.
Do NOT contact any email or phone number that posts here saying they can help you if you contact them directly. That’s not Google Support. That’s another scammer looking to cheat you again
