I got my Pixel under the Fi service when I lived in Delaware, so it has a 302 area code. When I call someone, it says “Wilmington, Delaware”. It’s my phone for my small business and I live in Pennsylvania now. It causes me to lose local business. I’ve submitted tickets twice to get the Fi team to change my caller ID text to my business name or at least “Wireless caller” and it’s never worked.Has anyone been successful with this? Is it possible? They seemed to think so.
Hey Bill! Thanks for your question, and welcome to the Google Fi Forum!
The only way to change that is to change your phone number to one that is local to where you live now. Some folks have accomplished something similar by getting a local-based google voice number, and then redirecting that to their Google Fi number.
Hope that helps! Let us know if you have further questions!
