Hi all,I am looking to get as granular with my Google Shopping campaign as possible to better track results etc. I was just wondering if there was a way to add one or more products to different product groups so I can bid on those product groups in terms of searchers intent. For example, I am trying to have one of my products in two different ad groups and use negative keywords for both and have separate bids on the same product in those different product groups if that makes sense. That way I can pay a lower bid for a product with low buyer intent and place a higher bid for a product with higher buyer intent. The reason I ask is because some of our products show up on pages where there really might not be someone interested in purchasing the product based on the search query, I would like to create a product group with the product that shows up there and bid lower for that product group, but higher when the buyers intent is greater. Is this possible? Thanks!
Yes, that is a common strategy. More commonly used to sort brand queries from generic ones.
You can use campaigns and campaign priorities to let Google know which campaign should serve the ad first, regardless of bid.
