I created a post ”Dickinson Street Art by Peque …” and misspelt the title. It’s suppose to be ”Dickson”I caught on to the typo before my viewers began to notice my new post and copy / pasted the original post into a fresh post with the edit to the suburb name to fix the permalink I did a search on the post today (it’s been 3 days since I made the post) and found I’m 4th in the Google search but the old typo is still displaying in the description. I realized since I’d copy and pasted the page title into my image Alt Text that I’d forgotten to change the alt text when I created the new postI edited the images and updated the post but when hovering over my image it still displayed the old typo. I resorted to replacing the pictures altogether which fixed that issue but google search is still displaying the typo.I’ve given it a good google and cant find the answer. Will google eventually pick up on my edits and display the correct spelling as per my edits or do I need to create a fresh post as the typos are now engrained in the post?Getting the suburb name wrong is embarrassing lolAny help is appreciated.
Changes at search engines results takes time and not immediate. It might takes days, weeks and sometimes months. To speed up you can tell search crawlers that there are updates at your blog contents.
