My Age-Restricted purchases will not play on the tv app. It’s on a LG tv. Restricted mode is turned off. Other purchases that are not age restricted play fine. I’ve logged out and then back in, no dice. I then deleted the app and reinstalled it, signed back in and still the same problem. When I go to play the age-restricted video I get the normal message stating “Do you want to play this video? This video may be inappropriate for some users.” I select the “I wish to proceed” option and in the past this is when the video would play but now I’ve been getting a message saying “Something went wrong. Sorry, this content is Age-Restricted.” So I’m stuck here right now. Any advice out there or maybe even someone who has had the same experience?
I checked the archives and thereâs been plenty of users on smart TVs whoâve had this problem. Few answers no real solution. The suggested work arounds were just plain ridiculous. Like using a mobile device for the network connection. Maybe some other contributor knows of one.
